Bureau Meeting - Dakar 2025

The meeting of the AACB Bureau will be held on May 20, 2025 at the Headquarters of the Banque Centrale des Etats de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (BCEAO) in Dakar, Senegal. It will be preceded, as usual, by the Technical Committee meeting on May 15 - 16 and 19, 2025 according to the following programme:

  • May 15 - 16 and 19, 2025 : Meeting of the Technical Committee
  • May 20, 2025 : Meeting of the Bureau

Briefing note

Accommodation: Each central bank will be responsible for the accommodation costs of its delegation (see the list and rates of hotels). Participants should contact the hotels directly to book their accommodation.

Transportation: Airport transfers will be arranged by BCEAO.

About Us

The idea of an Association of African Central Banks was first introduced on May 25, 1963, at the Summit Conference of African Heads of State and Government held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In this regard, African Heads of State and Government unanimously agreed to set up a preparatory Economic Committee to study a large range of monetary and financial issues, in collaboration with Governments and in consultation with the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA).
