Collaborative Platform for Banking Sector Information

The Collaborative Platform for Banking Sector Information is designed to host a Total Banking Sector information template which can be accessible to AACB members countries. The platform allows group members to:

  • post the completed information template bi-annually, within 60 days from the end of the reporting period i.e 30 june and 31 December;
  • view and download each others' total banking sector information;
  • create static content for additional informational documents e.g training materials, meeting minutes etc.

Access to the platform is restricted to AACB members countries, via username and password.

About Us

The idea of an Association of African Central Banks was first introduced on May 25, 1963, at the Summit Conference of African Heads of State and Government held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In this regard, African Heads of State and Government unanimously agreed to set up a preparatory Economic Committee to study a large range of monetary and financial issues, in collaboration with Governments and in consultation with the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA).
